About Us

As a family owned and operated company, we take great pride in the products we make, and we take care of each of our customers as if they were one of our own. This mentality shows through our quality products, as well as our customer service.

Who We Are

In 1987, founder Steve Casey started a small hardwood flooring company on his family farm in Kentucky. He began by retailing flooring from wholesalers, but it wasn’t long before Steve began to apply his creativity and manufacturing skills to the hardwood flooring industry. Tennessee Wood Flooring soon became recognized for our custom prefinished flooring; each floor manufactured to suit matching the client’s color and style preference. We have evolved from only carrying a few pre-finished products and colors and selling out of our showroom, to now having thousands of unique combinations, and hundreds of retailers and distributors all over the country. We work with new material wood from replenishable forests, as well as with genuine reclaimed barnwood from structures all over our area.

Give Us A Visit

We now manufacture our flooring in the heart of the Smoky Mountain region and are proud to combine decades of experience with the woodworking craftsmanship of the Smokies. Based in Sevierville, Tennessee, if you come to visit Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, or the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, plan to visit our factory and one of a kind showroom. If you’re lucky, Steve will be cooking up a rack of ribs and you can sit a spell on the front porch, too.

WE CARE ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT

Sustainable Forestry Practices

After decades in business, we have searched high and low to find trusted suppliers that use sustainable forestry practices. This means that as the lumber is harvested for your flooring, certain practices are observed like:
  1. Selective Cutting. Modern lumber harvesting does not strip the land of all of the trees. In the past, clear cutting practices decimated forests beyond what they could naturally replenish. This had tremendous negative impact on the environment. Instead, trees are selectively cut and guidelines are followed that ensure the forest’s ability to naturally regenerate.
  2. Tree Planting. As trees are harvested, more are planted so the forest can continue to grow in health.
  3. Minimal Impact Techniques. As heavy equipment is used to harvest lumber, sustainable practices govern the use of equipment to ensure minimal impact on the natural environment.

100% VOC Compliance
